There is no single leader of this expedition. We work as a team, each person contributing their unique talents. Listed in alphabetical order they are:

Mara Boland

Horse trainer, mountaineer, photographer, documentary filmmaker. She participated on the 1998 first accent of the Worlds northernmost mountain, and she was on the team that reached the (until now) new northernmost island in 2003. In 1998, Mara discovered, together with Peter Skafte, the Worlds northernmost archaeological site near Cape Morris Jessup. On her many adventures, she has explored the jungles of Brazil , the Himalayan Mountains and the Tibetan Plateau.

Bill Gasperini

Bill Gasperini is a journalist and videographer whose career has taken him to many parts of the world, including numerous war zones. He has a keen interest in ethno-anthropology and has traveled extensively throughout the Russian Arctic from his current base in Moscow, focusing in particular on nomadic reindeer herders. He has also taken part in expeditions to Greenland and to the Karakorum Mountains to the base camp of K-2, the second highest mountain in the world.

Ole Jorgen Hammeken

Anthony Parisi

Architect, outdoor enthusiast, with a thirst for adventure. Anthony has hiked and climbed in the American West and is looking forward to visit north east Greenland, one of the last true wilderness areas of our planet. He is one of the prime movers in our current fund raising efforts, without which an expedition of this magnitude and complexity is unlikely to succeed.

Peter Skafte, Ph.D.

Danish born anthropologist, mountaineer, participated on the 1996 Top of the World Expedition that located the first island north of Oodaag Island . He participated on the first assent of the Worlds northernmost mountain in Pearyland, 1998, and he was also on the team that visited the (until now) new northernmost island in 2003.
